A
city is meant to serve and provide all that is required by the
citizens. It should have amenities to sustain the residents and their
needs. So Gurgaon is one city that was developed to cater to the ever
growing population in Delhi and the demand for fresh property. With
the advent of BPOs, it gained much acclaim and as a result many
professionals shifted here.
To
make it a good city, Gurgaon Master Plan was formulated and then it
was developed accordingly. With wide roads, residential areas,
commercial buildings, office spaces and retail separate zones for all
facilities were demarcated. This sort of planning helps in keeping
traffic jams, parking problems, congestion and illegal construction
at bay.
It
is maintained by the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA). It
is responsible for the upkeep of Gurgaon and has been doing a good
job. Infrastructural needs like roads, sewage, waste disposal,
telecom network, banks, ATMs, hospitals, market places, schools and
entertainment zones too have been provided by HUDA.
The
government has been planning many reforms to help people commute and
reside in Gurgaon. The first and foremost is the building of a direct
link from Lutyen's Delhi to IGIA. This will ease traffic on the
Dhaula Kuan belt for people going to IGIA. Another is the completion
of the National Highway 8. Many other reforms have been taken that
favour the builders and as a result this has led to an increase in
the number of launches in the past year. These numbers were earlier
constantly falling down.
Gurgaon
is a highly approachable city with the NH-8, Dwarka Expressway, M. G.
Road, Kundli Manesar Palwal (KMP) Road, Southern Peripheral Road
(SPR) and Northern Peripheral Road (NPR). The proposed metro will be
connecting Gurgaon to Dwarka at the Dwarka Sector 21 Metro Station.
This will make commuting very convenient. The existing railway
station makes travelling very smooth. The upcoming ISBT aims to
provide a comfortable and affordable travelling to the nearby states.
Property in Gurgaon is available in large numbers. Areas like New Gurgaon
have been developed in the recent years where umpteen number of
projects are under construction. A lot of reputed builders have
established themselves here.
Of
the many projects that have been developed and are being constructed
